Corn on the Grill
I cook corn on the grill and brush it with a spicy garlic butter. These ears of corn will have your guests coming back to the grill for more.
Ingreadient
- cooking spray
- 5 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
- ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ lime, juiced
- 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (such as Tapatio®)
- 6 ears fresh corn
Direction
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Heat garlic and butter in a small saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes to infuse the butter with the flavor of garlic. Do not let the butter simmer.
- Stir together sugar, salt, black pepper, and cumin in a small dish. Stir into the butter mixture along with lime juice and hot sauce until evenly blended. Brush ears of corn generously with the garlic butter; reserve remaining butter.
- Cook corn on the preheated grill, rotating occasionally until the corn is hot and tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Brush corn with remaining garlic butter as corn cooks
